This is the moment a Russian jet crashed into a US Reaper drone over the Black Sea.
In recently declassified footage released by the US military, a small clip shows the aircraft getting closer to the drone, before clipping it, causing the image to disappear during the incident on Tuesday.
Officials later said the drone had to be brought down in the Black Sea.
The incident occurred in an area of intense Nato military activity, close to the frontlines of the Ukraine war amid Russia's ongoing bombardment of the eastern European nation.
US Air Force General James Hecker, who oversees the US Air Force in the region, said: "Our MQ-9 aircraft was conducting routine operations in international airspace when it was intercepted and hit by a Russian aircraft, resulting in a crash and complete loss of the MQ-9
