The arrest was made on Wednesday morning.

It comes after Sturgeon stood down as party leader and Murrell resigned as SNP chief executive after almost 25 years.
He quit with immediate effect after the party initially rubbished reports that its membership had dropped by 30,000 – with the then-SNP head of communications Murray Foote dismissing the claims as “drivel”.
The investigation was launched after complaints about the SNP’s handling of £600,000 in donations raised by the party ostensibly to campaign for and hold a second independence referendum.
